You'll have the flexibility to manage your schedule and work independently. If you enjoy traveling, this role offers the chance to explore different neighborhoods, cities, and regions within your designated territory.

Position Overview: The Field Admissions Representative finds passionate and motivated students eager to learn and develop their skills at Universal Technical Institute. This role involves working closely with local high schools to recruit students and build awareness of UTI and its programs. The territory covers within a 120-mile radius.

The ideal candidate will have a customer-focused, extroverted style that can engage, motivate, and positively impact individuals. You should enjoy making connections and communicating with people, proactively establishing relationships, and following established guidelines and procedures. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and prioritize schedules is essential.

*This is a remote position, but candidates must currently live and travel throughout the Austin, TX area.*

Responsibilities
  • Building Relationships: Develops new relationships and strengthens existing partnerships with dealerships, industry partners, high schools, and local communities.
  • Events: Conducts in-person presentations at high schools and represents UTI at offsite events.
  • Consultative Mindset: Conducts informative interviews using technical knowledge, maintains CRM database for follow-up.
  • Public Speaking and Presenting: Presents to educators and encourages students to attend UTI.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintains knowledge of programs, financing options, and answers prospective student questions.
  • Metrics: Meets or exceeds enrollment goals through outreach and recruitment.
  • Adheres to compliance criteria and procedures.
  • Other duties as necessary.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with public speaking, industry knowledge, and 3-5 years outside sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to clear background check, including MVR.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and sales skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis.
  • Effective relationship-building, independence, organization, and territory management skills.
