Job summary

Florida ENT & Allergy is seeking a Medical Scribe for a full-time position at our Brandon, Riverview, and Mid Tampa offices. You will accurately document patient encounters, manage medical histories, and assist physicians with exams and treatment plans.

The ideal candidate has strong medical terminology knowledge, high typing speed, EMR experience, and excellent communication. Travel between offices may be required, and a bilingual candidate is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficient with medical terminology and high typing speed.
• Able to multitask and handle a high patient volume.
• Self-starter eager to learn ENT, Allergy, and Audiology.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience with EMR and computer literacy.
• Bi-lingual a plus.
• Committed to ethics and patient confidentiality.
• Attention to detail and time management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Document encounters and maintain accurate medical records.
• Record patient history, symptoms, and exam findings.
• Record treatment plans and physician recommendations.
• Order diagnostic tests and surgeries as directed.
• Assist with medical coding and billing processes.
• Input prescriptions and medications; coordinate with staff.
