Job summary

Talentburst,-Inc. seeks a Medical Lab Scientist for a travel assignment in Niles, MI. The role is a 13-week contract with 3rd shift and some 2nd shift coverage.

Candidates must have ASCP or AMT certification eligibility and a strong background in basic laboratory testing, QA/QC, and data management across multiple computer systems. Excellent attention to safety and compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Medical Technology or equivalent with MT/MLS eligibility.
• Experience with high complexity testing is preferred.
• Ability to work across multiple computer systems and LIS.

Responsibilities

• Follow lab procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting and record-keeping.
• Maintain QC/QA records and proficiency testing documentation.
• Analyze specimens using approved procedures per SOPs.
• Review and release test results accurately.
• Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety guidelines.
