Pride Health is seeking a Traveler Medical Lab Scientist to support a client facility in Niles, MI 49120. This is a 3-month contract with potential extension or conversion to full-time based on performance.

The role requires handling specimens, performing analyses, and ensuring accurate reporting while adhering to CLIA, HIPAA, and OSHA guidelines. Education and credentialing per MT/MLT standards are required.

Competenze

• BS in Medical Technology preferred; or BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology, or Associates in Laboratory Science/Medical Technology.
• Foreign educated candidates must provide credential evaluation from IERF.
• National certification MT/MLT (ASCP or AMT) preferred.
• 1 year of clinical experience in high-complexity testing; licensure as required.

Mansioni

• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting, and record-keeping.
• Maintain records for proficiency testing samples.
• Analyze specimens using approved procedures and SOPs.
• Review and release test results.
• Comply with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
