Pride Health is seeking a Traveler Medical Lab Scientist to support a medical facility in Pittsfield, ME for a 3-month contract with possible extension or conversion to full-time based on performance.

Role involves night shift (1830-0700 EST), performing routine and high-complexity testing, maintaining QA/QC records, and ensuring compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, and OSHA guidelines. Requires strong computer skills and knowledge of QA practices.

Qualifications

• BS in Medical Technology preferred.
• 1 year of clinical lab experience in high complexity testing.
• Eligible for MT/MLT certification (ASCP/AMT).

Responsibilities

• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting and records.
• Maintain proficiency testing records.
• Analyze specimens using approved procedures.
