MD Now urgent care, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Clinical Medical Assistant to support patient care across MD Now locations in Florida. You will prepare patients, assist clinicians, handle labs and coordinate follow-ups to ensure smooth workflow.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of clinical experience, EHR familiarity, and has completed an accredited Medical Assisting program; AAMA certification is a plus. Travel to multiple MD Now sites may be required.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ year of clinical patient care experience preferred.
• Experience using an EHR system is helpful.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program or completion of an approved BOTP program is required.
• AAMA certification is helpful.
• Ability to obtain Breath Alcohol and Drug screening certifications within 30 days.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days.

Aufgaben

• Prepare patients for examination by taking histories and vital signs.
• Set up exam rooms with instruments and maintain supplies and equipment including sterilization.
• Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
• Assist physicians with splints, dressings and bandages.
• Assist with transfers and scheduling follow-up care.
• Coordinate patient physicals and workplace injuries for partner accounts.
• Screen calls for referrals to physicians.
• Willing to travel/float between MD Now locations within assigned area.
