American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position on a night shift in a long-term acute care setting, requiring a current NC or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a long-term acute care hospital
• Patient population includes medical-surgical and telemetry cases
• 66 staffed bed facility
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00
• Every other weekend is required
• Floating within scope and between like units may be required
• Uses Epic EMR for documentation
• Royal blue and white scrubs are required
• Not open to local candidates within a 50-mile radius
• Responsible for providing nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a long-term acute care environment
• Teamwork includes floating to similar units as needed
• RTO (Requested Time Off) is subject to manager approval
• Block scheduling requests are considered but not guaranteed
• Interview availability is needed to proceed with consideration
