American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Travel Med/Surg Tele position in a long term acute care hospital in Fayetteville, NC. NC or compact license and Epic charting experience are required.

The assignment runs for 13 weeks with 48 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, and travel benefits are included. Pay package is based on shifts and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in Med/Surg Telemetry or Long Term Acute Care
• Epic charting experience preferred

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in a long term acute care hospital, requiring a current NC or compact license and Epic charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a long term acute care hospital on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Patient population includes medical-surgical and telemetry cases
• Night shifts, 4x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00
• Work every other weekend is required
• Floating within scope and between like units as needed
• Epic EMR system is used in the unit
• Royal blue and white scrubs are required
• Provide care to patients needing both med/surg and telemetry monitoring in a long term acute care setting
• Weekend and holiday coverage expected as per unit requirements
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this assignment
• RTO (Requested Time Off) is subject to manager discretion

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required at time of application
• Experience in med/surg telemetry or long term acute care required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Applicants must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Previous staff must be gone for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Limit of 2 contracts; must be gone 6 months before returning for additional assignments
