Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license required.

• Minimum one year of charge nurse experience in a Med Surg setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist department director with daily operations, staffing and workflow.
• Supervise, direct and evaluate team members.
• Ensure efficient use of personnel, equipment and resources.
• Maintain high-quality patient care standards and safety.
• Provide direct patient care as needed within scope.
• Monitor care plans and adjust as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff for positive outcomes.
• Oversee staff performance and unit operations during shift.
