Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for nights in Lewiston, Maine. The assignment spans 12 weeks with pay ranging from $672 to $768 gross per shift (equivalent to $56.00–$64.00 per hour).

This role includes direct patient care, supervising staff, and ensuring quality, safe care. Requires RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and at least one year as charge nurse in Med Surg. Weekly pay and a $3/hour differential enhance the compensation.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• PALS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg setting required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
• Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
• Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
