Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for a nights shift in Lewiston, Maine. This 12-week assignment offers competitive pay and weekly pay cycles, with a compensation range of $56.00 to $64.00 per hour on a gross basis.

Successful candidates will hold current RN licensure in Maine, BLS and ACLS on hire, and PALS on hire. One year of Med Surg charge nurse experience is required to qualify.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the state of Maine.
• BLS (AHA) certification required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required on hire and maintained.
• PALS (AHA) certification on hire and maintained.
• One year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg setting required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director with daily department operations, staffing and workflow management.
• Supervise, direct and evaluate team members.
• Ensure efficient use of personnel, equipment and resources.
• Maintain efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provide direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient care plans and direct necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Support a safe, high-quality, patient-centered care environment.
• Oversee staff performance and unit operations during the assigned shift.
