Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. Nights shifts are available, with pay up to $672–$768 gross per shift (equivalent to $56–$64 per hour), plus a $3/hour differential.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg setting required.
• PALS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
• Supervise, direct, and evaluate team members.
• Ensure effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintain efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provide direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient care plans and direct necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Support a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
• Oversee staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
