Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Travel Med Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Springfield, MA. The RN will provide bedside care, administer medications, and support patient education and discharge planning in a fast-paced Med Surg unit.

Requirements include a valid MA RN license and BLS, with 1–2 years acute care experience preferred. This travel role offers 36 hours per week on a night shift schedule with potential tax-free stipends.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in MA.
• 1-2 years of acute care experience preferred.
• BLS required at minimum.
• Travel RN with Med Surg specialty.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and data collection.
• Provide bedside care for Med Surg patients, pre/post-op as needed.
• Administer and document medications; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning.
