Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel assignment in Springfield, Missouri. The position requires a Med Surg RN with an active license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS certification, and at least 18 months of Med/Surg acute care experience.

Travel assignment is 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, night shifts, and full travel benefits including housing options and credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient’s health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care.
