Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment. Candidates must have EPIC EMR experience and NIHSS certification, plus travel nursing background.

The role involves a Med/Surg floor with 32 beds (20 staffed), a 12-hour night schedule (6:45 PM–7:15 AM), and no call or standby obligations. Active RN licensure and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Multistate/Compact or WV state license required).
• BLS and NIHSS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS recommended but not required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Strong Med/Surg background.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Unexpired driver's license copy required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit with 32 beds (20 staffed currently).
• Nurse-to-patient ratio limited to 5, with RN/LPN staff.
• Treats wide range of diagnoses; excludes laboring mothers and certain drip patients.
• RN documentation via telemetry and EPIC; RT assists with CPAP/BiPAP/high flow.
• Floating to other units as needed; no call/standby required.
