Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Med Surg RN for a 13-week night assignment in Sioux City, IA. You will work 12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) in a Level 3 Trauma Center, with 2+ years of Med Surg experience and Epic proficiency.

Requirements include Iowa or Compact RN license, current BLS, and Epic EMR experience. Travel-friendly, Navy blue scrubs, and limited time-off during holidays are noted. 50+ miles from facility required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Med Surg experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Active RN license Iowa or Compact.
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military accepted).
• Valid driver’s license required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Provide Med Surg nursing care on a night shift within a hospital setting.
• Document care and patient status in Epic EMR.
• May float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary care team.
