Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in Illinois. Candidates must have an active IL RN license, BLS certification and at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience. The role supports a 23-bed Med/Surg unit on the 4th floor with telemetry and potential ICU/ER float based on experience.

The assignment uses EPIC EMR, requires a 12-hour night schedule (7P-7A), and offers housing assistance, travel reimbursement, and per diem benefits for eligible travelers.

Qualifications

• RN with Med/Surg experience preferred
• Must be licensed in Illinois (IL RN)
• BLS certification required (AHA)

Responsibilities

• Care for acute Med/Surg patients on a busy unit with telemetry
• Monitor patient status and coordinate with care team
• Perform direct patient care during 12-hour night shifts (7P-7A)
• Collaborate with charge nurse and house supervisor
• Use EPIC EMR for documentation
• Provide care within 4th floor Med/Surg unit and 3rd floor as needed
