Responsibilities include supervising the team, coordinating patient care plans, and collaborating with physicians to ensure optimal outcomes. A current RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS are required, with at least one year in a charge nurse role.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) required.
• ACLS (AHA) required.
• PALS (AHA) required.
• Minimum one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
• Supervise, direct, and evaluate team members.
• Ensure effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintain efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provide direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient care plans and direct necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Support a safe, high-quality, patient-centered care environment.
• Oversee staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
