Confidential is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for a nights shift in Lewiston, Maine. The assignment lasts 12 weeks with pay ranging per shift and per hour rates.

The role involves leadership, direct patient care, and collaboration with physicians to ensure high-quality outcomes while supporting a safe, patient-centered environment. A robust benefits package and dedicated staffing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg setting required.
• PALS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
• Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
• Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
