MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Med Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Birmingham, Alabama. The role requires a Med Surg RN with an active license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, and BLS certification.

The position offers 36 hours per week on a night shift, with travel accommodations provided. The ideal candidate has at least 18 months of acute care Med/Surg experience and will join a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency dedicated to supporting healthcare

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification required.
• 18+ months of recent Acute Care Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments as directed by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient health and perform treatments.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Document medication and treatments meticulously to ensure continuity of care.
