Job summary

Confidential Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse position in Lewiston, ME for a 12-week assignment. Duties include supervising, direct patient care as needed, and ensuring efficient department operations in partnership with physicians for optimal patient outcomes.

The role requires an active RN license and current BLS/ACLS/PALS, with one year of charge nurse experience in a Med Surg setting. Night shifts are available, with a pay package described below.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• PALS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
• Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
• Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.

• Pay: up to $672 - $768 gross pay per shift; equivalent to $56.00 - $64.00 per hour.
• Assignment Length: 12 weeks
