Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking an MDS Float Candidate who is detail oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated, while remaining bedside for resident assessment and family meetings. Travel Monday–Friday is required, with overnight stays as needed.

The role involves providing MDS coverage, educating on RAI/PPS/QM, and collaborating with the Clinical Reimbursement Specialist during onboarding. Multistate licensure and long-term care MDS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires current RN or LPN licensure; multi-state licensure preferred.
• Minimum 3 years MDS experience in long-term care.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Provide MDS coverage for open positions and educate on RAI, PPS, QM, and Medicaid/Medicare guidelines.
• Collaborate with Clinical Reimbursement Specialist on onboarding MDSCs.
• Demonstrate competency in RAI, Care Planning, PPS, Medicare, and Medicaid where applicable.
