Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (M) certification for an acute care facility in Stockton, CA. The role includes tomo mammography, stereotactic biopsy assistance, and a typical 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule with every other weekend.

Experience with Cerner EMR and Merge PACS is required, as is a current BLS credential and state license if applicable. Prior travel assignments are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as Mammography Technologist.
• BLS certification required and ARRT(M) credential.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Acute care setting in the Mammography department.
• Perform tomo mammography studies and assist radiologist with stereotactic biopsy procedures.
• Average caseload of 15 cases per day.
• Uses Cerner EMR and Merge PACS imaging system.
• 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, every other weekend.

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Current BLS certification and ARRT (M) Certified Mammography Technologist credential required
• License required if applicable
• Must have performed at least 200 mammograms within the past 2 years
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Cerner experience required

Responsibilities

• Acute care setting in the Mammography department
• Perform tomo mammography studies and assist radiologist with stereotactic biopsy procedures
• Average caseload of 15 cases per day
• Uses Cerner EMR and Merge PACS imaging system
• Monday-Friday day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, every other weekend
• First to float within scope of practice
• Perform tomography mammography studies and assist with stereotactic biopsy procedures
• Teal scrub color required
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
