Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient breast imaging center. The role requires ARRT (R)(M) certification and BLS, plus 2+ years of mammography experience.

Candidates must have NYS Mammography licensing if applicable, documentation of 200 cases in the last 24 months, and Digital Mammography with Tomosynthesis training. Schedule includes multiple shifts with some Saturday work; local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)(M) certification is required.
• NYS state license in Mammography is required if applicable.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of mammography experience required.
• Documentation of 200 mammography cases completed in the last 24 months required.
• Digital Mammography and Tomosynthesis training documentation required.
• Documentation of Didactic Training required.
• Two professional references from previous managers in current discipline/specialty required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient breast imaging center setting.
• Patient population includes mostly adults with some pediatric patients over age 8.
• Shift schedule: 12:00 PM-8:00 PM Mon & Tue; 11:00 AM-7:00 PM Wed-Fri; and 7:00 AM-3:00 PM every other Saturday.
• Weekday training hours may 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.
• Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a reduced rate.
