Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient setting. This travel role requires ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) certifications and a minimum of two years' experience in mammography.

You will work on Hologic 3D equipment in a 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule, with a 24-hour per week commitment, and no on-call or weekend shifts. Travel housing and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required.
• X-ray tech experience preferred.
• 1:1 patient ratio experience.
• Experience with 3-D, diagnostic, digital and screening mammography.
• Proficiency in digital quality assurance procedures.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient mammography setting.
• Perform diagnostic and screening mammography procedures including 3-D and digital mammography.
• Uses Cerner charting system; experience preferred.
• Must be willing to float based on facility census and staffing needs.
• Wine-colored scrubs required.
• First-time travelers will be considered.
• Local candidates are not accepted; travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Maximum of 10 days RTO permitted.
• Candidates requesting holiday RTO must work one of the three major holidays.
• Former employees must be separated from the facility for three years before returning as a traveler.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required
• X-ray tech experience preferred
• 1:1 patient ratio experience
• Experience with 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and screening mammograms

• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE preferred
• License required if applicable
