Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience in screening and diagnostic mammography procedures for an outpatient setting.

The role involves performing both screening and diagnostic mammography, EPIC charting, and maintaining patient safety with PPE; requires WA license, BLS, and experience with 3D mammography. Shifts are 5x8, Mon-Fri, with options 7:00-3:30 or 8:00-4:30, no on-call, and potential to float within the hospital as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography required.
• BLS certification required.
• Active WA license required if applicable.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• Proficient in 3D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms.
• Experience with fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsy.
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient mammography setting
• 5x8 day shifts, Monday through Friday
• Shift options of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No call requirements
• May be required to float within the hospital based on patient care needs
• Performs both screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, must be disclosed prior to consideration
• No custom scheduling requests allowed
• Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate
• Travel pairs accepted
• Former staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being considered for rehire as a traveler
