Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in New Haven, CT. The role involves performing specialized breast imaging, assisting radiologists, and delivering patient education while adhering to all regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have two years of Mammographic Technologist experience, a valid state radiology registration, and ARRT certification.

Qualifications

• Two year approved School of Radiologic Technology (education requirement).
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Two years of Mammographic Technologist experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized mammography examinations and assist the Radiologist.
• Produce high-quality films for radiologist evaluation.
• Complete patient education regarding the exam.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver safe, cost-conscious patient care and maintain a patient-focused environment.
