Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Santa Rosa, CA. The Mammography Tech will work 40 hours per week on 10-hour days and operate mammography units per routine, with results forwarded to radiologists for interpretation.

Qualifications include ARRT (M) with mammography registration, BLS, and state licensing where required. Travel readiness and ability to stand long shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required.
• ARRT (M) National Certification with mammography credential and state licensing as applicable.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting assignment.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and review imaging requests, explaining procedures.
• Interpret doctors’ instructions accurately for procedures.
• Perform mammography studies and adjust settings for optimal results.
• Develop and evaluate mammograms; forward to radiologist for interpretation.
• Maintain safe work environment and enforce procedures.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
