Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Pinole, CA. The Mammo Tech will operate mammography units, ensure image quality, and coordinate with radiologists for interpretation. Immediate opening with 40 hours/week, days shift.

Requirements include 1 year of Mammo experience, ARRT (M), BLS, and applicable state licensing. Travel role offers weekly pay and travel benefits through TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Mammography experience required.
• ARRT(M) certification and BLS; state licensing as required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and assist patients during imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography studies and ensure image quality for interpretation by radiologists.
• Prepare patients, review imaging requests and explain procedures to provide comfort and reassurance.
• Develop and forward completed mammograms to radiologist; adhere to PACS processes.
