Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Reno, NV is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The Mammo Tech will work 40 hours per week, 8-hour days, performing mammography procedures and ensuring image quality for radiologist interpretation.

The role requires 1 year of experience, ARRT(M) certification with mammography registration, and BLS. Job includes travel compensation and PACS workflow using McKesson PACS.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• ARRT (M) national certification with registration in mammography.
• BLS and state licensing if required.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammography unit and ensure image quality for radiologist review.
• Confirm patient identity, explain procedures and provide reassurance.
• Develop and retake mammograms, forward studies to radiologist.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS system.
