Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Truckee, California. You will perform specialized breast imaging, support radiology staff, and ensure high-quality images for radiologist review.

The role requires completion of a two-year radiologic technology program, state registration, and eligible OR experienced Mammographic Technologist credentials. Travel duties and patient care are included.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Two years of Mammographic Technologist experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and assist Radiologist in mammography exams, including breast biopsies.
• Produce high quality films for radiologist evaluation.
• Educate patients regarding the exam.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe, patient-focused environment with timely care.
• Promote a safe work environment and adhere to national patient safety initiatives.
