Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Long Term Care seeks a Travel RN for a 13-week assignment in Flandreau, SD. The role offers 36 hours weekly, 12-hour night shifts, and a chance to impact residents’ health and well-being in a LTC facility.

You will oversee care plans, administer meds, and educate residents while collaborating with a clinical team. Requires one year LTC RN experience, active RN license, and BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience in a long-term care setting.
• Valid RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health and monitor changes.
• Develop and update care plans with the care team.
• Administer medications and treatments safely.
• Observe and report medication reactions or condition changes.
• Provide wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and other skilled procedures.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs, delegating tasks as appropriate.
• Educate residents and families on medications and chronic conditions.
• Document care and outcomes promptly.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with physicians.
