Job summary

TotalMed RN in Mandan, North Dakota is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Long Term Care assignment. This 13-week travel position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts and a tax-free stipend to be determined.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of RN experience in LTC or SNF, current BLS certification, and eligibility for state licensure; additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state
• BLS certification is required
• Experience in Long Term Care or SNF preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes promptly
• Supervise CNAs and LPNs in daily care activities
• Provide wound, catheter and other skilled nursing procedures
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and social workers
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance
• Document resident progress accurately and timely
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
