• May float within 5 units
• Uses Epic EHR system
• Collaborative team with techs, nurses, physicians and therapists
• Address physical, emotional and psychological recovery aspects
• Maintain professional, flexible, and positive demeanor
• Report to Charge Nurse on arrival
• Mask requirement for vaccination exemptions during flu season
• Residence >60 miles from facility
• No recent LifePoint permanent staff in past 12 months
• Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere while on assignment

Requirements

• Current BLS (CPR) certification required
• IV certification required prior to consideration
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
• CRRN certification preferred
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting with 81 private rooms across brain injury, stroke, comprehensive, medically complex, and spinal cord injury units
• Adult patient population age 18 and older
• Patient ratios approximately 1:6-7 during day shifts and 1:8 during night shifts, with a dedicated tech assigned to each nurse
• Night shift scheduled from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required
• May float within 5 units in the hospital including Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, and Spinal Cord Injury units
• Uses Epic EHR system
• Work within a collaborative team alongside dedicated techs, charge nurses, and rehab professionals including physicians, specialists, and therapists
• Provide care addressing physical, emotional, and psychological components of each patient's recovery
• Candidates should demonstrate a flexible, collaborative, and positive demeanor
• Black scrubs required along with agency-provided ID badge
• Report to Charge Nurse upon arrival
• Individuals with an approved vaccination exemption must wear a mask covering nose and mouth during flu season (November 1 through March 31)
• Permanent residence must be more than 60 miles from the facility
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
