American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a night-shift LPN for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Missouri. MO LPN license, BLS, IV certification and 2+ years of experience are required.

Night shift runs 6:30 PM–7:00 AM with every other weekend coverage and possible cross-unit float. The role uses Epic EHR and requires a flexible, collaborative demeanor to support a multidisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, and specialists in caring for adults 18+ with brain injuries, strokes, and spinal

Qualifications

• MO LPN license required
• BLS CPR certification required
• IV certification required prior to consideration
• Minimum 2 years of LPN experience required
• CRRN certification preferred
• Flexible, collaborative demeanor

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital with 81 private rooms across brain injury, stroke, comprehensive, medically complex, and spinal cord injury units
• Adult patient population age 18+ recovering from strokes, brain or spinal-cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, and complex orthopedic injuries
• Patient ratios approximately 1:6-7 during day shift and 1:8 during night shift, with each nurse supported by a dedicated tech
• Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required
• May float within hospital units including Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, and Spinal Cord Injury
• Uses Epic EHR
• Provide rehab nursing care addressing physical, emotional, and psychological components of patient recovery
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including physicians, specialists, and therapists
• Must wear black scrubs with agency-provided ID badge
• Report to Charge Nurse upon arrival
• Flu vaccination required, or approved medical/religious exemption with masking required during flu season
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
