Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision. The role includes medication administration, treatment delivery, and documentation, with emphasis on safety and quality of care.

Travel to support nearby locations within a 75-mile radius may be required. The position requires ND-licensed LPN credentials, at least 3 months of LTAC experience (6 months preferred), and a minimum age of 18.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Current LPN license with state board and/or multi-state licensure.
• IV therapy/management skills required in North Dakota (AASPN or approved IV course).
• Minimum clinical experience across life span or 400 hours as LPN.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes of care, medication, behavior, and diet.
• Collaborate with health care professionals and support staff as part of an interdisciplinary team.
