Job summary

Healthforce in Orono, Maine, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a travel assignment in a long-term care facility. The 7-week engagement starts 11/02/2026, with 36 guaranteed hours per week and 3x12-hour shifts from 06:30 to 19:00.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care, med administration,Vital signs monitoring, and resident mobility assistance. Requires active Maine LPN license; LTC experience preferred. Staffing support provided throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse license to practice in Maine.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents per individualized care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and document medication administration.
• Monitor residents’ vital signs and clinical status; escalate changes to the supervising RN.
• Assist with activities of daily living and resident mobility.
• Maintain accurate charting and care documentation in the resident record.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance.
