Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (Long Term Care) for a travel assignment in Westbrook, Maine. The role runs for 13 weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week and an evening shift (5x8) in a skilled nursing facility. Travel support and 24/7 recruiter assistance provided.

Active Maine LPN license and BLS are required; prior long-term care experience is preferred. Start date is 11/09/2026, with a weekly pay range of $1,301–$1,388.

Qualifications

• Active Practical Nurse license in Maine.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and complete 40 hours per week on travel assignment.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care environment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, reporting any changes.
• Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and document findings accurately.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and promote dignity and safety.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Maintain compliant documentation and adhere to regulatory standards and facility policies.
