Overview

Licensed Practical Nurse (Long Term Care) in Camden, Maine. This travel assignment starts November 2, 2026 and runs for 21 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week. You will work three 12-hour day shifts (06:45-19:15) in a long-term care nursing home. The weekly pay ranges from $857 to $873 per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to long-term care residents under the supervision of an RN or physician, including assessment, observation, and response to evolving conditions.
• Monitor vital signs, intake and output, neurovascular checks, and report changes promptly using the facility's charting system.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, document administration accurately, verify MARs, and participate in medication reconciliation as needed.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility assistance, and feeding, while promoting dignity and independence.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, care plans, and progress notes; update documentation to reflect changes in condition and interventions.
• Collaborate with the interprofessional team (CNAs, RNs, physicians, therapy staff) to coordinate care, plan discharges, and ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Active LPN license
• Ability to work the assigned three 12-hour day shifts per week
• Comfort working in a long-term care setting with frail adult residents
