Job summary

Jackson HealthPros in Pittsburgh is seeking a cath lab technologist to support physicians and Cath lab staff. You will operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment to capture critical cardiac data and images, contributing to diagnostic tests and procedures.

The role requires ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification, RCIS preferred, 2 years Cath Lab experience, BLS/ACLS, and state licensing as applicable. Four 10-hour shifts, on-call rotation, and full-time benefits are included.

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist.
• RCIS certification from CCI preferred.
• Must have 2 years’ Cath Lab hospital experience.
• BLS & ACLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• State licensing when required.
• Basic EKG interpretation and ability to pass facility EKG test.
• Sterile technique.
• Hemodynamic monitoring.
• Fluoroscopy with C-arm, table, and image processing.
• EPIC electronic health record experience.
• Ability to assist the physician during percutaneous cardiac and vascular procedures in a sterile environment.
• Ability to learn and operate equipment and products required for percutaneous cardiac and vascular procedures.
• CCI-RCIS or ARRT RT.
• Attestation of PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
• Attestation of PA State Police Check (PATCH).
• Other Regulatory Requirements.

What You’ll Need:

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
• Must have 2 years’ experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting.
• BLS & ACLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• State specific licensing when required
• Basic EKG interpretation and ability to pass facility EKG test

Assignment Details

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Cath Lab hours are 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• OR hours are 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call 1 to 2 days per week
• Rotating weekend call every 3 to 4 weeks, depending on staffing
• Rotating weekends required
