Job summary

Jackson HealthPros in Pittsburgh is seeking a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) to support physicians in diagnostic tests and vascular procedures, using fluoroscopy and EPIC EHR.

This assignment requires ARRT/RCIS certification (preferred), 2 years Cath Lab experience, BLS/ACLS, and ability to work 4x10-hour shifts with on-call.

• State licensing when required.
• Basic EKG interpretation.
• Sterile technique experience.
• Hemodynamic monitoring experience.
• Fluoroscopy with C-arm experience.
• EPIC EHR experience.
• Ability to assist physicians during percutaneous cardiac and vascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and Cath lab staff in conducting diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture data of the heart and blood vessels.

Earn full time pay and benefits while you assist physicians and other Cath lab personnel in conducting vital diagnostic tests and procedures; and operate advanced medical equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

What You'll Need:

• ARRT certified Radiologic TechnologistRegistered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
• Must have 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting
• BLS & ACLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• State specific licensing when required
• Basic EKG interpretation and ability to pass facility EKG test.
• Sterile technique experience.
• Hemodynamic monitoring experience.
• Experience with fluoroscopy using C-arm, table, and image processing.
• EPIC electronic health record experience.
• Ability to assist the physician during percutaneous cardiac and vascular procedures in a sterile environment.
• Ability to learn and operate equipment and products used for percutaneous cardiac and vascular procedures.
• CCI-RCIS or ARRT RT required.
• Attestation of PA Child Abuse History Clearance required.
• Attestation of PA State Police Check (PATCH) required.
• Other Regulatory Requirements required.

Assignment Details

• 4 10-hour shifts.
• Shift hours may be 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM in the Cath Lab or 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM in the OR.
• On-call required 1 to 2 days per week.
• Rotating weekend call required every 3 to 4 weeks depending on staffing.
• Rotating weekends required.
• Dress code: Burgundy scrubs.
