Job summary

Jackson HealthPros in Pittsburgh is seeking a registered Radiologic Technologist specialized as Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join our cath lab team. You will support physicians during percutaneous cardiac and vascular procedures, operate C-arm fluoroscopy and related imaging systems, and help ensure patient safety in a sterile environment.

Requires ARRT RT and RCIS preferred, at least two years in a cath lab, BLS/ACLS. EPIC EHR experience essential.

Qualifications

• ARRT RT or RCIS certification preferred; licensure as required by state.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting.
• BLS & ACLS certification; state licensing where required.
• Experience with fluoroscopy, EPIC EMR, sterile technique and hemodynamic monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during percutaneous cardiac and vascular procedures in a sterile field.
• Operate C-arm fluoroscopy and imaging equipment to capture high-quality images.
• Monitor hemodynamics and interpret basic EKG as needed.
• Maintain EPIC EMR documentation and ensure patient safety.

Earn full time pay and benefits while you assist physicians and other Cath lab personnel in conducting vital diagnostic tests and procedures; and operate advanced medical equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

What You'll Need:

• ARRT certified Radiologic TechnologistRegistered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
• Must have 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting
• BLS & ACLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• State specific licensing when required
• Basic EKG interpretation and ability to pass facility EKG test.
• Sterile technique experience.
• Hemodynamic monitoring experience.
• Experience with fluoroscopy using C-arm, table, and image processing.
• EPIC electronic health record experience.
• Ability to assist the physician during percutaneous cardiac and vascular procedures in a sterile environment.
• Ability to learn and operate equipment and products used for percutaneous cardiac and vascular procedures.
• CCI-RCIS or ARRT RT required.
• Attestation of PA Child Abuse History Clearance required.
• Attestation of PA State Police Check (PATCH) required.
• Other Regulatory Requirements required.

Assignment Details

• 4 10-hour shifts.
• Shift hours may be 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM in the Cath Lab or 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM in the OR.
• On-call required 1 to 2 days per week.
• Rotating weekend call required every 3 to 4 weeks depending on staffing.
• Rotating weekends required.
• Dress code: Burgundy scrubs.
