Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a travel assignment in a Pittsburgh-area facility. You will interpret physician instructions, administer contrast, and operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Required: 2 years CT experience, JRCERT-accredited radiology program, ARRT and ARRT(CT) certifications, BLS, EPIC experience, and CTA experience. Rotating 8- and 12-hour shifts with weekend work and possible on-call.

Qualifications

• 2 years CT Tech experience required.
• Completion of a JRCERT accredited radiology program.
• Current ARRT certification and ARRT(CT) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Gated CTA and Coronary CTA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician scanning instructions and ensure image quality.
• Administer contrast materials according to protocol.
• Operate CT equipment and maintain patient safety during procedures.
• Participate in patient care and equipment readiness during shifts.

Job description

Become a vital part of Jackson HealthPros' team as an experienced CT Tech! You'll accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT scan equipment for an area healthcare facility.

• 2 years CT Tech experience
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• BLS certification
• ARRT(CT) certification
• EPIC experience
• Gated CTA and Coronary CTA experience
• Attestation of PA Child Abuse History Clearance
• Attestation of PA State Police Check (PATCH)
• Image Gently & Image Wisely Attestation Forms
• Rotating 8 and 12 hour shifts.
• Will work 2 8-hour shifts and 2 12-hour shifts per week.
• Expected weekly hours: 36-40.
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.
• On-call: Potentially for call off coverage.
• Response time for call back: 30 minutes.
• Schedule is posted in a 4 week block, 2 weeks prior to its start.
