Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a cath lab technologist (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) in Pittsburgh. You will support physicians and Cath lab staff in diagnostic tests, operate fluoroscopy equipment to image the heart and vessels, and maintain sterile technique for equipment and device preparation.

This role requires 2+ years in a Cath Lab, ARRT tech credential, and on-call availability. We offer full-time employment with comprehensive benefits and travel-specific support; candidates should

Qualifications

• Candidate must be ARRT Radiologic Technologist with RCIS preferred.
• title or role-specific credentials required or in progress are accepted.
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab hospital experience.
• BLS & ACLS certifications preferred.
• State licensure when required by state law.
• Completion of an accredited technical program is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and Cath lab personnel in diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to capture heart and blood vessel data.
• Prepare equipment and devices using sterile technique.
• Respond to emergent on-call pages within 30 minutes when required.

Earn full time pay and benefits while you assist physicians and other Cath lab personnel in conducting vital diagnostic tests and procedures; and operate advanced medical equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

What You'll Need:

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
• Must have 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting
• BLS & ACLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• State specific licensing when required
• Completion of an accredited technical program is required.
• Experience with physician scrub-assist.
• Experience with fluoroscopy operation.
• Experience with equipment and device preparation using sterile and clean technique.
• Experience with patient procedure prep.
• ARRT or RCIS required.
• Must be able to respond and arrive to the cath lab within 30 minutes of emergent patient on-call page activation.
• Shift hours: 7a-530p.
• Four 10-hour shifts per week.
• On-call: 1-2 weekdays from 530p - 630a.
• Weekend on-call every 3rd weekend from Fri 530p - Mon 630a.
• Will work directly with Interventional Cardiologists.
• While on-call, will serve as the 3rd person of a 3 staff member on-call team.
