Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 26-week assignment in Seattle, WA. You will provide obstetric care, monitor maternal and fetal status, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes during labor and postpartum.

The role requires 1 year of L&D RN experience, WA RN license, BLS, and NRP certification, with preferred additional certifications.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric patient care during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and administer medications per protocol.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during labor and obstetric procedures.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists and other team members to deliver cohesive care.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence-based protocols.
