Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Wenatchee, WA. You will provide comprehensive obstetric nursing care, monitor mother and newborn health, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include 1+ year L&D RN experience, WA RN license, BLS and NRP certifications. Preferred certifications include AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, and STABLE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Active RN license in WA (or state where employed).
• Current BLS certification; NRP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric nursing care during labor, delivery and postpartum.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond to emergencies.
• Assist during cesarean sections and obstetric procedures as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per obstetric nursing standards.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and newborn care.
• Document care and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and anesthesia teams for optimal outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to maternal/neonatal care.
