Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 26-week travel assignment in Issaquah, Washington. You will provide essential obstetric care, monitor maternal and fetal health, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role requires 1 year of L&D experience, a valid RN license, and current BLS; NRP and other certifications are preferred. This position offers travel benefits, competitive pay, and comprehensive support throughout the

Qualifications

Recent 1 year of Labor and Delivery RN experience.
Current RN license compliant with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
NRP Certification required.

Responsibilities

Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing techniques.
Prepare equipment and assist physician during labor, delivery, and examinations.
Provide immediate postpartum care including mother and newborn assessment and stabilization.
Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists and other team members.
