Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 18-week travel assignment in Seattle, WA. The role focuses on obstetric patient care, fetal monitoring, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and high-quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of L&D RN experience, active RN license, and current BLS; NRP certification is required. Travel benefits, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP Certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families; provide reassurance.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing techniques.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during labor, delivery, and exams.
• Provide immediate postpartum care and stabilize mother and newborn.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists and other team members.
