Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN for Labor and Delivery in Dallas, Texas. The role covers antepartum to neonatal care in a high-acuity setting with a 13-week assignment and 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

Active RN license and a nursing degree from an accredited program are required, along with BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS and AWHONN certifications. Eighteen months of recent L&D experience and client-specific requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS AWHONN Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery (L&D) setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Provide care for women before, during, and after delivery.
• Monitor mother and newborn vital signs during birth.
• Watch for potential high risk problems in labor and delivery.
• Educate and support mothers and families after delivery.
