Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery assignment in Rapid City, SD. Requires 2 years of L&D experience in a Level 3 NICU setting. 12-hour variable shifts (0630–1830) and every-other weekend availability are required.

The unit features 10 L&D beds, 4 OB ED/Triage, and 4 Antepartum rooms; EPIC charting is used, and travel nurses must reside outside a 100-mile radius to be eligible.

Qualifications

• Active SD or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery experience.
• Certification in BLS and NRP required; additional obstetric certs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for antepartum, OB triage/ED, postpartum and infant patients.
• Manage high acuity labor patients including preeclampsia and preterm labor.
• C-section delivery support and Postpartum/Couplet care.
